The continued copper price reduction recently reflects China's economic situation is still unstable. Though the People's Bank of China has introduced policies to stimulate economy, the effects are not so good as expected, the market confidence is low, which put the metals market under pressure. Also as China’s peak season of consumption is gradually over and low consumption season is approaching, in the coming several months, the market needs for copper in China may enter the downturn. However, the supply keeps on increasing, which enlarges the negative influences of copper price. It is estimated in short term, the copper price will remain under pressure, today’s copper price fall accordingly.
